Premium lifestyle brand brings energy, community spirit, and a whole lot of luck to Utah’s favorite summer basketball event.
DRAPER, Utah — To bring together community, culture, and competition, Black Clover is teaming up with JamFest 2025 as a platinum sponsor to help elevate Utah’s fastest-growing 3v3 basketball tournament and block party. The event, founded by former Utah Jazz player Thurl Bailey, returns to the Sandy Promenade on August 16th from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM for a day of competition, entertainment, and connection.
Now in its third year, the event is quickly becoming popular regionally. JamFest 2024 hosted 118 teams, 476 players, and nearly 1,350 attendees, attracting participants from across the Mountain West and West Coast. The 2025 tournament is expected to surpass those numbers as the event continues to build momentum.
Black Clover – a premium lifestyle apparel brand based in Utah and recognized for its high-quality hats, athletic gear, and iconic “Live Lucky” mantra – was inspired to accept a partnership with JamFest 2025 as a platinum sponsor. The brand is committed to empowering individuals to live with purpose and passion, whether it's on the golf course, in the office, out in the town – or even playing in a basketball tournament.
As part of its support, the brand donated 600 hats to be distributed throughout the event, offering attendees a wearable reminder of premium-wear, comfort, and local support.
The donation is one aspect of a larger commitment that reflects Black Clover’s ongoing relationship with Bailey and their shared dedication to building up Utah communities through sport and positive culture.
“JamFest has always been about using basketball as a way to bring people together and celebrate community,” Bailey says. “It’s incredible to see how much the event has grown in just a few years. Partnering with Black Clover felt like a natural fit because their ‘Live Lucky’ message perfectly reflects what we want every player and family to walk away with each year."
While Black Clover won’t have a booth at the event, the company’s impact will be seen and felt throughout the venue from branded hats to a growing relationship with Bailey himself, who has long advocated for youth development and unity.
“To ‘Live Lucky’ with Black Clover apparel has always been about a positive mindset, working hard, and living life to the fullest,” says Brett Wayment, Black Clover Founder. “What Thurl’s doing with JamFest really resonates with us. It reminds us what community is all about. We’re proud to be part of something that reflects the values we built this brand on.”
In addition, JamFest 2025 will feature slam dunk and shooting contests, food trucks, a vendor marketplace, family activities, and live performances. To the players, sponsors, and attendees, it’s more than a tournament – it’s a full community celebration.
The event is free to attend, and registration for teams remains open at jamfestutah.com.
