Q&A

What is a life lesson you’ve learned from golf?

Golf has taught me a lot about discipline, honesty, and communication, and that has carried over into my relationship as well. Golf is one of those games where you call penalties on yourself–there’s no one out there reffing. You learn how to respect the rules and everyone who plays has an inner sense of honesty.

What is your greatest achievement (to date!)

I won the U.S. Amateur when I was a freshman in college and that happened so quick and unexpected and it was fun to have some validation and good results for all the hard work that we do as golfers.

How do you “Live Lucky?”

I manifest the luck through hard work and belief in yourself because good things happen to you on or off the golf course when you’re least expecting it and not waiting for things to happen. Keep your head down and create a clear plan of what you want to do and know. Sometime in the future the luck and good fortune will follow if you’re doing the right things.
